### Unified Inbox
Connect multiple email accounts (Gmail, Outlook, iCloud) in one clean inbox. IMAP-based — no data siloed on our servers. Emails are cached locally per-user.

### Pidgey Assist (AI Chat)
An in-app AI assistant powered by Google Gemini. Capabilities include:
- Summarizing email threads
- Drafting replies in the user's tone
- Answering questions about email content
- Web search via Gemini's built-in Google Search tool
- Daily inbox briefings on open

### AI Draft Suggestions ("Pidgey Suggests")
When an email is selected, Pidgey automatically generates a context-aware reply suggestion. One click applies the draft. Powered by Google Gemini.

### Security Pidgey — Threat Detection
Automatic phishing and spam scoring on every incoming email. Suspicious emails are moved to Quarantine. A Review Queue holds borderline emails for user inspection. Known threat patterns include: suspicious links, spoofed domains, urgency language, lookalike senders.

### Smart Triage
AI-powered inbox categorization. New emails from unknown senders are flagged with suggested categories (newsletters, promotions, finance, social, personal). Users can accept suggestions or override. Accepted choices train per-user sender rules for future auto-sorting.

### Email Scheduling ("Send Later")
Compose now, deliver later. Schedule any email to send at a specific date and time. Scheduled emails appear in a dedicated folder and can be cancelled before delivery.

### Snooze
Hide an email and resurface it on a chosen date/time (e.g., "remind me tomorrow", "next week", "next month").

### Subscription Radar
Auto-detects email subscriptions via List-Unsubscribe headers. Surfaces recurring newsletter and promotional senders in a dedicated view. One-click unsubscribe supported.

### Paid Subscription Tracker
Manually track recurring paid services (Netflix, Spotify, etc.) with renewal dates and amounts. Sends reminders before renewal.

### Contact Address Book ("The Book")
A linked contacts database with full email history per contact. Supports CSV import. Quick-compose from any contact card.

### Voice Dictation
Compose emails by voice using the Web Speech API. Transcription inserts directly into the compose window.

### Command Palette
Press Ctrl+K (or Cmd+K on Mac) for a keyboard-driven command palette. Search emails, navigate folders, compose, and run actions without touching the mouse.

### Calendar / Flight Schedule
A built-in calendar view with meeting, birthday, holiday, and subscription tracking. Upcoming events roll off the list automatically once the day ends.

## Privacy Model
- Emails are fetched from the user's own IMAP server and cached in the user's per-account database partition.
- No email content is stored on shared infrastructure beyond the per-user SQLite cache.
- AI requests send email content to Google Gemini API only upon user-triggered actions (summarize, draft, etc.).
- Users can supply their own Gemini API key (BYOK).
